Mondays people go their way
Lots of things to do
Just another working day
Nothing to do with you
Outside on the fringes
Just beyond the view
Somehow disappearing
Like a wish that won't come true
Hard to hold out hope that way
And save for bills you cannot pay
Still we have to play the game
As if we have no say
