Careful watch out where you sit
The ice you're skating on is thin

I know the view is limited
Here from where I sit
Lots of possibilities
Not one feelin it
Patience has no part in this
Learning how to sit in this

Not too high or too far down
Finding balance in the dark

Try to enjoy simple pleasures
Searching for the spirits treasures

The year is almost over
Holidays upon
Rollin through no regard
For what we can't recover
No traditions
All anew
Nothing to remind of you
All the wishes won't come true
But some will be as new
Darker shades of blue
Multicolored hues
Of sadness and content
Those two are contrary
Together they are peace
Sometimes it feels ugly
Sharpening its teeth
Terrifies me daily
So I don't look at its feet
Still I know it's here though
Waiting to devour

Am I supposed to have to choose
Force myself to be reclused
Opportunities reduced
By my own accord

On those days I can't afford
To see one more closing door
Then I make it to the shore

Think about what you call yours
How you would defend your borders
Give them what the doctor ordered

Gonna go up to the altar for more

Try to keep out of that place
That no one wants to go

Sometimes have to look in there
And close the closet door

Sorting out the details
Face to face with life's fails
Searching for the next phrase
To lead me to the next phase

Listening for special words
Wondering if they'll be heard
Waiting for the steps in order
How to share beyond the borders

Trying to imagine going
Somewhere so unknown
There's no map that's showing
The road that we ride on

Feels like it's meandering
Often standing still
One days in the ditches
Or climbing up the well
